Try not to miss any lecture of math as it might be difficult for you. This happens because every topic in math is related to the previous topic, and you will find it hard to understand that topic later. 

Mathematics requires speed and most important accuracy.  So, while performing calculations you should be careful about the values and signs. Also, be accurate while applying the formula, as the wrong formula will lead to the wrong answer.

Before preparing for any subject, it is required to be well prepared about the marking scheme for each topic. Also, remember to give some special attention to topics that are carrying higher weight age.

In class 6 exam, many questions are taken directly from NCERT textbooks. Therefore, in order to perform well, you have to complete your NCERT textbook. Later, you can go for different books to practice new questions, to increase your knowledge. But remember to practice each question in your prescribed textbook first, including the examples.

A mistake often happens in mathematics, it is very important to improve them first.  The mistake will help you to figure out which section requires more attention. Most of the time, try to correct it by yourself, and if you are unable to figure out, then you can take help of your teacher to get it cleared.
